Hey, I'm Jesse.

I didn't start out in marketing. I started out making custom decals out of necessity, the way a lot of small business stories actually begin -- you need something, you figure out how to make it, and then other people want it too. That grew into screen printing, and screen printing eventually opened the door to the bigger question: how do small businesses actually get seen? That question led me to Blank Canvas Media, and honestly, I haven't looked back.

When I'm not building content strategies or writing a blog, email or caption. I'm somewhere in the middle of a creative project, usually something involving a camera, a weird idea, and way too much enthusiasm. I make YouTube content, I've got a horror film in the works, and I run a handmade soap business out of convention booths on weekends. I'm also a single parent, which means I understand what it actually looks like to juggle a business around a real life with real demands.
